Well, I had been getting a cold for a while, and one could argue that the reason why it got massively worse was that I chose to go work out and continue stressing through the last days before the larp I´m attending, but I choose to believe that my body is punishing me for denying it chocolate.

Why is it that when someone decides to make a movie out of a television series, the movie almost always end up being so much more sickeningly sweet than series itself? It happened with Sex and the City (there is so much more to say about that crappy movie, but I'll refrain) and it most definitely happened with the Simpsons movie. Why do you think this is?

Also, I ended up as narcissus. That is so unfair. I don't think I'm that self absorbed. Am I?

I've decided that this is the last day I'm going to attempt to work from home. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm totally unmotivated to do my assignment, or if I just lost the knack for it, but so far today I've had coffee, tea, read my flist, beta'ed a fanfic, taken a meme, talked excessively with 45hasle and most importantly not done anything productive with my actual assignment. Gah! I hate myself and my unproductiveness.

My plan for the rest of the day:
- Actually do something, anything, with my assignment.
- Do the dishes
- Play squash
- Do more with my assignment

I realize my life is rather dull...but at least the test said I was a risk taker, so that must mean I'm actually exciting, I just haven't realized it yet. ;)

Update:
Well, I played the violin for the first time in a year, I did the dishes, I worked out instead of playing squash, and we sorta cleaned the living room. In addition, we got a new wireless rooter for the internet so we no longer need to fight over the internet (which will make mornings easier). I did not, however, get any work done. Will not attempt to work from home again.

I'm more than halfway with my report (and it's longer than a well diggers ass), I'm getting a bad cold and I'm bored to death. I've also canceled all my fun stuff for this evening (as well) just so I can get this thing over with. I am so tired of this now. And thus, a meme for you.

Early morning posting, it's nothing like it. I'm gonna try and list 10 things I love starting with the letter B.

1. Beer. I love beer. Any kind of it (almost, but I'll still drink even the bad stuff). My relationship with beer is like my relationship with coffee. I sometimes try to live without it, but it never lasts.
2. Brian Molko One of my very first celebrity crushes, and my most extreme one.
3. Baths Long ones, short ones, I love them all. The feeling of being warm all the way through to your bones. Mmmm...
4. Bread I have a passionate relationship with dark bread with pesto and fresh tomatoes.
5. Beef There's something about frying up a big chunk of dead animal and then eating it. It makes me feel all yummy inside.

10. Blur Blur is a band I keep rediscovering. Somehow I keep forgetting how much I love them, and then listening to them by accident and I fall in-love with them all over again. I almost wish that happened with other stuff too. I like that feeling.

12. Battering rams If I had one I could go upstairs and ram my way into the apartment and then smash their damned stereo. (They just started playing some sort of hard techno extremely loudly, again. I mean after 1 am and before 9? Don't these people ever need to sleep?)

So, I removed my first wisdom tooth today, the stitches come out next week and there's one more tooth to go after that. To all you people who said it'd go well, I have one thing to say: You.were.wrong. It was dreadful. I'm still reeling and worst of all, I hardly got any work done. True horror. Also, half my face hurts and I can't laugh or even swallow without pain. I feel sorry for myself.

And what would help cheer me up? that's right: memes!
