I'm spending christmas with my family. My heart is with you guys (limminel) who didn't get home in time! But, more imporantly, my christmas rocks! We're only the four of us (me, one of my brothers, mum and dad) but we're having great fun. All the pressies are opened and we're taking turns listening to the cd's we've got. So far, christmas dinner was awsome, I was eating pork tenderloin potatoes and sauce, officially the best christmasfood ever! I got an Ipod and the new Tom Waits album! And it is awsome! Awsome I tell you! This year's christmas drink (gin and tonic with a slice of cucumber) on the other hand, was questionable. I think I'll stick with aquavite and beer, but still, it matched the enormous amount of posing for pictures we've done...

to the norwegians:

Merry christmas everyone!

I've had the best easter vacation ever and the only one I've had in 3 years! First, me and [livejournal.com profile] akselwestlund went to his parents, met up with [livejournal.com profile] 45_hasle every evening and watched movies. Then we went to my family, met up with Mattheis Holter and Monica, had the "we're suddenly so grown up that we're having home cooked food for dinner, with the kids sitting at the table"-dinner before we played a one-shot rpg session of "Prime time adventures". Love the game, love the system. Needs to be tried out with the rest of you guys (and by that I mean [livejournal.com profile] 45_hasle, [livejournal.com profile] mirazandar, [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin and [livejournal.com profile] grimgram).

Best part of all, I got to read. Stuff that's not curricula, stuff I don't have to, stuff I've been meaning to read for like forever. I read Hedda Gabler, Mannen som elsket Yngve and started this third book which I didn't have time to finish, meaning that I'll probably never be read by me after all...

Me and [livejournal.com profile] akselwestlund stole the tv from the living room into my room yesterday, and watched buffy naked in bed, with pizza, like old times. It was amazing, but my tummy is still twice it's usual size. Easter got me again...damned Easter with it's food and candy... ;) We watched the 2nd ses halloween episode. I need to make the dress Buffy's wearing. I want it sooo bad.

By all, and remember: Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?

Slept late today. The initial horror of vacation has recieded and been replaced by a deep sense of relaxation and general happyness. I just finished "Hedda Gabler" by Ibsen, and will recommend it to anyone. I need to discuss it with someone soon though. I hate ranting about books to people with no interest of reading them...

Saw Oldboy again tonight. Was almost as brilliant as the first time, though the music fit better in a movie theather. For some strange reason. Aside from that I'm still convinced it is the greatest movie ever made. A must-see!

We were at [livejournal.com profile] 45_hasle, drinking tea and watching movies all night. Had a lovely evening.

I had a conversation with my lovely boyfriend yesterday where we discussed the apperance of Christopher Lee in different movies. We asserted that he was one of the great draculas and that he played the devil in Horror Hotel, but look at how many horrors he's actually played in: http://www.carfax-abbey.com/ActorSearchResults.cfm?ActorVar=79

Kudos for that Lee!

I have finally become one of the people who have read the last potter-book and is now anxiously waiting for everybody else to finish it so I can speak freely.

Spoileralert )

Christopher Lee should play in one of the Harry Potter movies. I could picture him making a good Mad-Eye Moody, or even Voldemort reborn. The last showdown between the young Potter and the evil Voldemort (Lee) would be magnificient! Someone should tell the castingdirector (and perhaps Lee himself...)
