I want to be your torment, enemy.
I want to be your pain
I want to be your shriek of agony.
As your soul goes down the drain!

I want to be your ruin, enemy.
I want to be your rot.
I want to be your cry of agony.
As your soul is going to pot!

I want to be your hell, enemy.
I want to be your doom
I want to be your scream of agony
As your damned soul goes foom!

---

So...anyone want to try out this new, daring rpg?

I like that the Warhammer rpg characters we've made have grown really jaded. Yesterday, when we'd solved the crime and gotten all the bad guys locked up we, instead of trying to leave or finishing our business (because we had to wait till morning if we wanted our payment), decided to get a good night's sleep, just because we knew that probably, come morning, all hell would break loose. And, sure enough, we got woken up by screaming and the entire town we were visiting was infected with chaos. But we were prepared and rested, and thus slayed peasants and hell beasts like there was no tomorrow. Then, we got out with our wagons and a profit. Awesome.

Best scene of the game:

Regina: "Ah, what a jerk. Why do I have to flirt with the guards? Now I had to promise him a date tomorrow."
Waldemar (me, her secret lover): "A date?! I thought you two looked chummy!" *angry*
Regina: "But you were the one who suggested I go talk to him!"
Waldemar: "I wanted you to talk to him yeah, but you didn't have to do it so well!"

Yesterday we played Feng Shui, an action movie rpg, and it was awesome. After [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin went home to get enough sleep for work today, me, Martin and Jens stayed up talking. Then Martin left and I still didn't get any sleep, at all. But it was a nice night with lots of good whisky and good conversation ended with good coffee before work, and I'm still awake so I guess I shouldn't complain.

When I got to work, I had about 500 things to do, in addition to trying to teach our new substitute the basics, but I think I nailed them all. It was kinda nice to realize that I actually know everything about my job, and can explain it to someone else, and nice to have help to do the work. So good day at work as well.

I got the letter R, lookie lookie to see what I love )

So, I’m finally back at work and it’s awsome. Right now I’m enjoying my breakfast (okay, so this morning wasn’t that awesome and included bringing instant soup with me instead of eating breakfast, but still) of spinach miso soup in my well-earned break after the morning rush. I love Japanese instant soups. Not so much because of the taste as because of the ingridients. This one contains: powdered miso, dehydrated tofu, dehydrated spinach, dehydrated seaweed, modified food starch (whatever that means), flavour enhancer, powdered bonito (that’s fish everyone, I¨’m eating powdered fish), powdered kelp, yeast extract, acidity regulator sodium carbonate. It sounds positively poisonous, I’m loving it! Actually, it doesn’t taste so good, so it’s a typical “there’s nothing else in the cupboard” or “I’m on a diet and these only contain 15 calories per portion” meal. This time, it’s a little bit of both. I could choose between this and an orange this morning, and, since I think I might have gained weight sitting on my ass eating pizza while I was sick, I went for the low calorie soup. Nummy!

Last night’s rpg session )

I’m regretting my choice of breakfast now. Maybe it’s the knowledge that I’m eating powdered fish, but I’ve sorta lost my taste for the soup, at least right now. At least I can pretend to be full while I wait for the fruit to come. And I mean, everybody knows that coffee is almost as good as food anyways right?

This weekend I played more rpgs than I've played in a year. First, I played D&D 3 ed on Friday, which was great (I got to be a half-dragon, go me).

On Saturday, me and [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin went to Holmestrand (the town I grew up in) to participate in Holmcon, an rpg con focusing on small, new rpgs that nobody normally gets to play or even know exists. Right up my alley in other words.

Holmcon review )

After that, me and aj went home to my parents to have dinner with them and finally went home and watched the new episode of Supernatural before bed. I was a little bit disappointed in that episode, too much angst, too little horror and too little Dean-time, but hey, what can you do? Today, I've gotten a mood theme with Supernatural. Isn't it neat?!
On Friday I said that I kinda hoped I’d get sick just so I could use my fantastically cool Barney is sick icon *points at icon*, but now I regret ever saying it. I refuse to be sick! I refuse to stay home! Instead, I’m totally dizzy and slow at work with a light headache and my bloody lungs in my hands! I’m in fact coughed them all up and are about to suffocate for lack of air. I hate this! When I breathe I get this brrrrr-sound inside my lungs and I have to cough. I’m so tired. But I will prevail. I mean, when I’m sick I just stop being sick and concentrate on being awesome instead!

In other news, this weekend was, despite the brewing cold, awesome! Marie Antoinette was brilliant, afterwards me and [Bad username or site: ”aj_stalin” @ livejournal.com] aj_stalin had to go home to change into something we could be caught dead in, and then we barely made the last subway back down to town (unfortunately after I’d told a friend of mine, Sissel, that we’d gone home and thus that she should stop waiting for us to come out). We thought we were the only ones going out, it being Friday and people being slobs, but when we got to Boylove, there were the old gang. And I mean the old, old gang! Natasha, Rein, Rein, Elin Marius’ sister, Lars Erik and his friends, Annette and her Mikael, Annette’s ex Marius, and not to mention millsnill and misfortuna. Greatness ensued of course and I had a great night!

Saturday was spent in Holmestrand with my parents, and that was when the sickness really kicked in. I tried all the good old tricks: loads of clothes, warm tea, painkillers and no smoking, but alas, it would not give up and I’m still stuck with it. Anyways, that didn’t stop us from celebrating my brother’s 27th birthday an age which apparently terrifies him with loads of goodies. On Sunday I went back to Oslo to play Mage with Eivind, Silje and Martin, which was also awesome.

details of the session ”here” )
A short question before I ramble on: Why, oh why, are there so many Supernatural slash fics with Dean/Sam as a pairing? How can there be so many people out there who’d like to read about two brothers getting it on? I mean, it’s oogie! I shun it and yet there must be a lot of people not shunning it since there are a lot of people writing it…Someone enlighten me?

So, yesterday I tried gming my first session of Chuthulu. Turns out, according to [livejournal.com profile] mirazandar [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin and [livejournal.com profile] akselwestlund though they could just be saying it to be nice to me it went well and we're playing again on Saturday. Goodie! Only problem was that we didn't have any dice or character sheets, so we did a diceless game session. It was okay, but I realized that I like some use of dices. I, for instance, prefere that they roll perseption rather than just deciding that they see everything that is hidden in the different places.

Sitting at the office I'm amazingly jealous of anyone who's still on vacation. Today this place is like a haunted house, all eerie and quietlike. I'm the only one here, the only sounds the ones I make and the occational burp from the printers (god, did that ever freak me out the first time I heard it today!). Outside, the fog is thick enough to resemble a scene from Silent Hill rather than a place inhabited by the living. Can't wait to get out of here.

apparently I'm a song my Paris Hilton...do you dare see what else I got? )

I finally posted something on my bio (Aksel, you should be proud). :) It's a little bit more faghagy than I usually go for, but hey, it was just that kind of day.

Other news, my job is going great. Too bad it's only for a couple of weeks cause I really like it here. *fingers crossed for the continued misfortune of whoever it is I'm replacing*

Yesterday I played the first session of a new rpg campaign; Deadlands. It was fun, but I still haven't gotten the feel of my new character yet. A few more sessions and I'll probably love her like no other.

The guy sitting next to me watching the counter looks kinda scary. The last guy was done with his shift yesterday, and the new guy hardly smiles. Maybe he's nice, but he looks big, strong and maybe mean. Also, he reads VG and sighed when I asked if I could borrow the Sports section even though he was done reading it.

We've started playing a sorta "Fey dark ages" campaign using the "Dogs in the Vinyard"-system and it rocks! Not only the system (even though it really does) but the campaign. [livejournal.com profile] akselwestlund is the gm, and [livejournal.com profile] 45_hasle, [livejournal.com profile] mirazandar and I are the players. Our characters all get a bus ticket to Desmoines (we are in Iowa) and get goaded to go on the bus, but it drives us to the middle of nowhere and suddenly somebody have come and taken over our lives. They look sorta like us, not quite, but suddenly everyone think they're us. Our town's priest is not fooled however and he tells us that the town's priest once every twentieth year choose three children to trade with the people in the hills. We were chosen twenty years ago. So, it turns out, we're in fact not human at all, and the people taking our lives are the ones who were meant to have them. Not that I'll believe that for a second. It's my life and I'll take it back nomatter what. Even though I've screwed everything royally up, I don't want somebody else to come in and take over, giving me three pairs of new panties and 200 dollars and expecting me to just go away. We're playing again on Monday. I can't wait! :)
