My last exam is nearing it's end, and as I've told some of you, and discreetly hinted to others, the people upstairs have started listening to techno music 24/7. Just loudly enough that you hear the bass, not loudly enough that you can hear what it is. So now my apartment resonates with their music all day, every day. In addition, lately, they've started yelling over the music instead of turning it down to talk, so I can make out 3 separate voices, but not what they're saying. I also suspect they have mastered the art of sleep deprivation to a hitherto unknown degree since they were having a heated argument (possibly, or you know, maybe they're just really loud) yesterday, at 1 a.m., when I was trying to sleep, and still was up playing more music today before I got up at 9. This is driving me insane! But, I've so far had about 5 parties where I forgot to give notice to my neighbours, and thus, complaining about these guys might open me up for attack. I'll leave it up to you to decide what to do!

That's true...I actually think we have new neighbours. You know, instead of the giant baby there are now between 3 and 5 eastern european guys living above us. (They paused the music, apathy wins for now).

I totally agree with your memes. Also, you should go tell the apartment complex management that your neighbours are being douches. Don't take it upon yourself to police their behaviour. They might rape you and kill you and make clothes from your skin. They might not do it in that order!

And here I was thinking I might be a little paranoid when I mentioned that they might be cannibals, but no, you're right, the might just be reavers too. Who said reavers can't settle?

I'm frightened by the manager...he complained about my lacking skills of taking in my newspapers once and I'm still scared he might think I'm a slob. Maybe he notices how bad I am at recycling?

I'd exchange the softguns for real ones at first opportunity. And get some friends from the national guard to lend me their G3s. And stock up on gas, rags, and empty glass bottles. And buy a security lock. And some fire extinguishers. Yeah, and good fireproof jumpsuits. And climbers-helmets. And elbow/knee protectors. Hell, I think they have bullet resistant wests at the pentagon-shop. Suit up, you never know, and if these guys are not reavers, at least you'll be prepared when the zombies attack.
