I need a little help to interpret this dream because it's been bugging me all morning, and the feeling just won't go away. I figure it probably means that my subconscious is trying to tell me something, and since I have no idea what, I thought maybe you guys could help?
I was standing on stage in my favorite concert hall, and my band had finally gotten the chance to perform there. It's the middle of the sound check when I realize that I have forgotten my guitar. Too ashamed to tell the rest of my band I ask the guys who work there if they had an extra. Noone had but one guy told me he could drive me home in his van and we could pick it up. I accept and he drives me to a house I've never seen before, turns out it's his mom's house, but there should be a guitar inside it. In a tree in the front yard sits an indian. When I look at him he suddenly starts gasping and gripping his throat. Blood sprouts out of his mouth and he falls forward and lands on a branch in front of me. With his dying words he whispers: Collect them. I look at where he's fallen and there's a mass of black and yellow larvae coming out of the tree. Amongst them there are some beautiful pink flowers that I try to collect since he told me to. But when I pick them up, larvae comes out of the flowers and try to grip my hand. Quickly I collect all the flowers in a basket and bring the basket (now filled with squirming black maggots) up to the house. There are no stairs in the house, and only strong people can enter the second floor (the guy tells me). I run up to the second floor anyways, because I'm too quick to fall down, and deliver the basket of maggots. Then he drives me back to the concert hall, now filled with people. I realize that I forgot to get the guitar, but as I turn to get out again a really handsome man in a black suit whom I realize is a demon is standing in the way. In the rest of the dream I try escaping the demons, who are hunting me because I touched the black larvae.
It could of course just mean that I shouldn't watch horror movies during an exam, but that would just be dull, wouldn't it...
