I just got asked if I wanted to sell my own used stockings to a customer via mail order. I've always been very self-concious about the way my feet smell, so I passed on this opportunity to make a quick buck. Would you have done the same?

Haha I don't think I'd do it. Not 'cause of self respect but... it's just fuckin' weird, especially if the person's asking me face-to-face. Maaaybe if it was somebody over the internet who I'd never have to meet I'd ask "how much?" and then think about it...

It was over the phone, so you would have had the opportunity. I just automatically said no, just like when drug addicts come in and ask if we want our windows washed: on second thought, we probably do, but my first reaction is still always no.

But just think of how many stockings I'd have to buy just to make sure I had a pair that didn't tear. I don't think I'd make much money to be honest...also, the whole paypal account thing, too much hassle.

I'm sure they do, but I don't like the thought that my feet are stinky. And selling my own stinky stuff? It's just weird.

Huh, I guess I hadn't thought of going to extra effort to make sure you produced a good product, as it were. I was just thinking if you had some you were going to throw away anyway, and someone wanted to give you money for them? Why not! Reduce, reuse, recycle! :D

Seconding the "not if asked to my face". I'd be totally ok with this variant of prostitution if I could do it somewhat anonymously though. Hells, my feet smell like roses and rainbows anyways, so why not make a profit from it...
