So, I got into the US okay. Lost my flight, but got a later one the same day so here I am, in John Kim's living room, just having finished watching justice league with his kid and eating mac 'n cheese. Very American. I'm so pleased!

Kinda tired, haven't had time to realize that I'm actually on the other side of the world from everyone just yet, and a little hyped on caffeine. This is going to be awesome!

Signing off!

Oh, and this icon is called "going in my blog" which this trip definitely is!

Ps. my cell doesn't work in the US, apparently, so I'll let you know when I get an American number you can contact me on. Until then I'll check my comments here and my email at least once or twice a week (probably more often, I am an addict to lj after all)

Hah! They tried to keep me out, but after I kidnapped a security guard and held him at gun point, they let me in. Or, actually, I ran across the border with him, hijacked a car and still have him locked in the trunk. I should be fine as long as they don't find me.

Scratch that. Of course I got in okay...I mean, hey, hahaha...you know I'm joking, right? *smiling wildly, looking over my shoulder, looking for cops*

Remember, all cars built after '85 have a trunk release button built into the left side of the drivers compartment...
So did you have to sign the paper stating that you're not a terrorist, criminal or communist?

Hmmm...I don't think it mentioned communist, but yes, I did. I also had to state that I didn't plan to get married in the US. Or that I would bring in snails...
