1. I have many very vivid memories from as early as three years old, but I would have problems placing them chronologically. But I'll pick one: There were a set of red stairs outside my kindergarden at Blindern, connecting the area where the youngest children were kept to the area where I was placed. I remember meeting a little girl upon the stairs who wasn't supposed to be climbing them. That was the first time I met my lifelong friend Julia.
2. I have a half brother that I've barely ever met, but one of the few times I did meet him he was visiting. I might have been eight years old. My skirt got caught up in my pantyhose at the back. This my strange brother pointed out and I was mortified.
3. Uranienborg. My family has never been religious but it's my local church and it's pretty and will always remind me of people we've said goodbye to at funerals, and of dreadfully boring Christmas and easter services with school.
4. I don't know if you've watched Grey's Anatomy, but there's an episode where Izzy talks about her sexuality as "the Beast". Once you wake it, it wants more, but if you're not having sex it sort of falls asleep. My answer is sex.
