I've gone through many phases in my search for a true hero. Someone I could really admire and look up to. Someone, try as I might, I would never overcome. True to form, they all came from movies. First, it was Randal from Clerks.

The way he treats his customers, the beauty of his disdain and total lack of etiquette. Truly inspiring. Also, he kept ordering porn, some of those movies I see every day in my store *shudder to think*, but he managed not only to order, but also to enjoy said movies. Randal was my hero for a long time.

Then came Ed, from Shaun of the Dead.

A character inspiring a sense of horrific facination in me. Lazy, messy, no ambitions and surprisingly good at playing video games. Their friendship overcame even the most serious of problems, death and zombiefication.

Ed was my hero until I started watching "My name is Earl". After 9 episodes in a row I realized that I had done it. I had found the ultimate rolemodel: Crabman!

Crabman is easy-going. I'm not sure I can say it in any other way. He takes life in stride, always looking allright and always smiling. Even when he has to serve poisoned cookies, or try to steal purses from old ladies, even when he finds out Earl slept with his wife, he is cool. He is so cool my pants are shaking. I will work long and hard at being that cool! I wish I was Crabman. (though I wouldn't have wanted his wife...)
I didn't get tagged by anyone. I'm just bored and can't sleep. Today's been an uneventful day. Watched my name is earl, was at band practice, read 35pages, talked to my teacher, ate alot. Tired now, but not sleepy.

Enjoy )
