Since I'm sure many people have already dazzeled you all with their detailed, yet clever reports from comicon, I will not bother to write down everything. Suffice to say, the hostel was really nice (hostel cat, go there if you're in the San Diego area), the panels were both fun and interesting and I got in on a press pass, meaning I got the conferance for free and could run up in front of the stage and take pictures without feeling bad.

I will however, give you the best quotes from the conferance and a few pictures.

(oh, and I just have to say this: Yes, I saw Jensen Ackles, yes he was about 3 feet from me, no I didn't get to talk to him, but I got to talk to Eric Kripke, and though he spent the entire time he wasn't talking posing for the pictures he knew people were taking, he was both funny and halfway intelligent when he spoke. I love that man!)

Exactly! and he was right there! And he looked at me, mostly because he was nudging Kripke to leave and he was talking to me, but still! He saw me. Now he just has to realize that I'm the woman of his dreams and track me down (although i'm sure it's a little difficult since I'm travelling around in america, I'm sure he can manage). Preferably he'll come meet me in the Impala... ;)

Alba looks great with her hear unblondeified. Didn't like it blonde. Hope she'll keep it that way for the next crappy movie she'll star in that I'll dl anyway cause she's in it.

just don't get so blinded by all the flash and glamour that you don't want to come home to us decent folk in Norway...

Um, I don't like flash and glamour. It makes me feel under- dressed and badly make-uped. (I met and had to actually have a conversation with Tiffany something, an actress. You know, one of those who actually have starred in several movies. She was wearing perfectly applied make up, and looked really great. I was wearing sweaty clothes and managed not only to spill about half of my coffee on my tits, but also to walk into a door when I left her.)

But yeah, press pass! You'd be surprised at how many people actually want to talk to you to get you to see their show, or talk about their movie, or give you free stuff if you're wearing something that says "press". Plus, I got to introduce myself as "Martine Svanevik, Norwegian journalist".

I kinda miss you guys...and the apartment. and the fact that we have normal weather. Not blistering hot and then thunderstorms...

Oh, and I finally got my very own nick name. I would feel proud, only it was "Norway". Yeah, that's right, all the nice people in the hostel called me Norway because they couldn't pronounce Martine. But hey, at least they didn't think norway was someplace in California (like a guy who worked at Universal Studios did).

I usually end up as "G", "crazy norwegian chick" or, at one time due to me drinking a lot and swimming in the pacific in november (not at the samt time), "viking girl". We are so lucky. All these really.. er, funny?... nicknamnes.

G sound cool, "crazy norwegian chick" is less catchy (but rather accurate :p)

But G could also mean, well, G. You know. Kind of misunderstandable...

I think I'm a rather good viking girl. Tall and white (and blond if we follow anything but scandinavian standards), noisy, drinking a lot and the list goes on... I won't steal ppls stuff though.. ;)
