Quick hi from Missouri
Hi, I'm just logging in to say that I'm alive. New Orleans was hauntingly beautiful and I'm completely in love. But a weird need to be on the road again hit me after a few days and I decided to drive the 550 miles to St Louis in a day. (Yes, I admit it, I went to St Louis to see all the places described in Laurell K. Hamiltons books...I know, I'm still a fan, nomatter how much oogie sex she puts in those books, I still love Anita.)
St Louis was cool, though the places sounded more interesting in hte books than in real life. Just like in New Orleans, I walked around the town without bumping into any vampires, but I heard that N.O. has a rather large population of people who'd love to think that they were vampires. you know, crazies who have been known to kill tourists and drink their blood (serious, I have some great chilling not-quite-ghost-stories to tell you guys when I get home!).
I'm going to go drive through Kansas now. Some will say Dorothy, but I say Winchester brothers! So there!
