It's so nice to be right
Lately, I've been noticing how much closer I have to be to signs and the like to read properly. First, I assumed it went for everyone, but after a while, I couldn't help but notice how others were able to recognize buildings and stuff like that much sooner than me. Finally, and of course because I always feel extra-sexy when I wear someone else's glasses, I decided to go get my sight checked out. And loh and behold: I'm near-sighted.
The best part of it though, is that I don't actually have to get glasses. Even though I'm near-sighted, it's so little that I notice it, but not bad enough that she'd recommend glasses just yet. So I still have 2 years to come up with the money to pay for these glasses.
Now, if only the actual test didn't cost me a bundle, life would be good. Then again, food is for people who want to get fat, and subway tickets are for people who don't like excitement in their lives. I live on the edgeof starvation
