Okay, so I got tagged at facebook, but since I'm friends with my coworkers and I don't want them to know what a slob I am at work today, I'll answer here instead.

I tag whoever wants to do this!

Comment and, if you so desire, I will list 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

Four days left of work and I'm so looking forward to my Christmas break. So much in fact that I'm starting to look forward to studying. It's like I don't even recognize myself.

Anyways, meme time.

Here's my year summarized in journal posts. I take the first sentence of the first entry of every month and post it to get an overview of the past year. I'm excited, aren't you?

This Christmas has been a time for the bitter-sweet feelings of suddenly realizing that you've grown up.

The Cure!!!
De spiller 11. februar.

Do you guys ever wake up realizing that the day ahead is going to be really hard to get through?

Do you ever feel like your life is so overflowing with stuff you need to do that there is just no way that you'll get through it all?

First off, congratulations comrades. I hope you all had a great day and that you filled it with much proletarian-friendly fun.

This weekend has been really very nice.

Well, I had been getting a cold for a while, and one could argue that the reason why it got massively worse was that I chose to go work out and continue stressing through the last days before the larp I´m attending, but I choose to believe that my body is punishing me for denying it chocolate.

So I took this test...the gender test at thespark.com, and it told me I was a man.

Do you ever have those moments where you look at yourself in the mirror and suddenly realize your entire outfit is a complete failure?

Life is difficult. Last week, I was so tired from work that I didn't know what to do and the bags under my eyes got bags of their own.

I made my very first pie yesterday.

Ever since I started my new and better life (which includes very little candy and snacks, no smoking and vigorous workouts), I’ve started substituting all my cravings for coffee.

Wow, after reading through this, I think my new year's resolution this year will be to learn to relax. I've been too busy this year (again).
( Dec. 11th, 2008 06:48 pm)
I'm grumpy. I haven't had my coffee today. I realized that I've become addicted to coffee (again). I will not accept this! I'm taking a week off. No coffee for me until next Thursday. Let's see if I make it...

In other news, the lovely [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin has admitted to loving something so soppy it makes my insides cringe and asked the rest of us, in Christmas spirit, to share something we are ashamed to love with the rest of you.

I hereby rise to the occation:

When I was really little, Absolute Music released a Christmas special (or, to be honest, by the time I noticed them they'd released): Absolute Christmas 2. It's a mix tape of different, more than well known songs that brings holiday cheer. In other words, it's pretty awful. But I was young and tasteless, and I loved song number 4: Frankie Goes to Hollywood - the power of love. That's right, not a good song, nothing to do with Christmas, and yet for me I still cannot decorate a Christmas tree without listening to it.

So there you have it:

I, of course, invite the rest of my flist to do the same. I've shared something horribly embarrassing with you. Now it's your turn.
At least when you're spending Friday night on the couch.

Can you describe me in one word?
Try, and then post this in your own LJ for some descriptors of your own.

Why is it that when someone decides to make a movie out of a television series, the movie almost always end up being so much more sickeningly sweet than series itself? It happened with Sex and the City (there is so much more to say about that crappy movie, but I'll refrain) and it most definitely happened with the Simpsons movie. Why do you think this is?

Also, I ended up as narcissus. That is so unfair. I don't think I'm that self absorbed. Am I?

I decided to go straight home from work today and clean the house. Instead, I slept for 3 hours, I'm still tired and, to be quite honest, have not gotten much cleaning done...Instead, I chose to do memes!

love my results? )
Yup, I'm just gonna go to bed. I cleaned the kitchen today. The bathroom, living room and bedroom can wait till tomorrow. So there.
I've decided that this is the last day I'm going to attempt to work from home. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm totally unmotivated to do my assignment, or if I just lost the knack for it, but so far today I've had coffee, tea, read my flist, beta'ed a fanfic, taken a meme, talked excessively with [livejournal.com profile] 45hasle and most importantly not done anything productive with my actual assignment. Gah! I hate myself and my unproductiveness.

But apparently I'm a risk taker. Read more... )

My plan for the rest of the day:
- Actually do something, anything, with my assignment.
- Do the dishes
- Play squash
- Do more with my assignment

I realize my life is rather dull...but at least the test said I was a risk taker, so that must mean I'm actually exciting, I just haven't realized it yet. ;)

Well, I played the violin for the first time in a year, I did the dishes, I worked out instead of playing squash, and we sorta cleaned the living room. In addition, we got a new wireless rooter for the internet so we no longer need to fight over the internet (which will make mornings easier). I did not, however, get any work done. Will not attempt to work from home again.

[livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin wanted us all to go back through our lj´s and honestly review it, then pick out the dullest post and repost it here. I tried, but what I realized was that every year around exams, my lj gets swamped in "I´m stressed out and unfocused" posts that are all equally dull. I cannot decide. They all suck.

Instead, I´m going to re-post my review of this year´s new year´s celebration. It made me feel all fluffy and warm inside. To all you people I´ve been neglecting due to too much work; I still love you guys and will resurface as soon as I´m done!

I'm more than halfway with my report (and it's longer than a well diggers ass), I'm getting a bad cold and I'm bored to death. I've also canceled all my fun stuff for this evening (as well) just so I can get this thing over with. I am so tired of this now. And thus, a meme for you.

I think it's safe to say that I won this meme, and I didn't even cheat:

Now, if only the part about the secret job with the huge paycheck was true...

Oh, and isn't this excellent or what?

Work is for sissies. Lalala.

Ask me anything! This is an awesome meme.

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, graphic techniques, etc.
I got 5 questions from [livejournal.com profile] mini_macphisto ages ago, and I've been putting off answering them till I got the time. Well, I give up, I'll never have the time, so I'm doing it today.

Comment on this post with something fun, and I'll give you 5 questions of your own!

my answers )
Reply to this post, and I will list three things I love about you. Maybe more than three. Then repost to your own journal and spread the love.
( Feb. 19th, 2008 08:03 am)
Early morning posting, it's nothing like it. I'm gonna try and list 10 things I love starting with the letter B.

(Oh, and I love you [livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin!!! I didn't read your Dartine-thing till now. *hearts you*)

Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. Afterwards, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.

1. Beer. I love beer. Any kind of it (almost, but I'll still drink even the bad stuff). My relationship with beer is like my relationship with coffee. I sometimes try to live without it, but it never lasts.
2. Brian Molko One of my very first celebrity crushes, and my most extreme one.
3. Baths Long ones, short ones, I love them all. The feeling of being warm all the way through to your bones. Mmmm...
4. Bread I have a passionate relationship with dark bread with pesto and fresh tomatoes.
5. Beef There's something about frying up a big chunk of dead animal and then eating it. It makes me feel all yummy inside.
6. Broken Bicycles by Tom Waits. That song makes my heart ache in a good way.
7. Baina Aina if I couldn't pronounce her name correctly. Because she is the most awesomest ever, and I want to squish her!
8. Brideshead revisited We have to continue watching it soon, Aina. I want to know how it all goes wrong!
9. Brian Slade Even if he is a bastard, and even if he only cares about being famous, I love him. Also, he snorts coke of a gay guy's ass. Ah, Velvet Goldmine, you movie of movies!
10. Blur Blur is a band I keep rediscovering. Somehow I keep forgetting how much I love them, and then listening to them by accident and I fall in-love with them all over again. I almost wish that happened with other stuff too. I like that feeling.
11. Bob [livejournal.com profile] 45hasle's evil good twin.
12. Battering rams If I had one I could go upstairs and ram my way into the apartment and then smash their damned stereo. (They just started playing some sort of hard techno extremely loudly, again. I mean after 1 am and before 9? Don't these people ever need to sleep?)
I just quickly checked my flist this morning before work, and suddenly, I was mentioned in somebody else's lj (and that always makes me happy). Not only that, but I made someone's day. That made this shitty start of a day ever so much better.

In other news, the work with KP09 -the Nordic larp festival, has started and I've managed to no longer be the chieftain. Nope, I'm head of the info committee. And I'm okay with that. It would be nice to have even less responsibility, but this is something I can do and that I like doing, so I think it'll be fun. Now, to pick my team of info-people *rubs hands together*

You make my day:

[livejournal.com profile] aj_stalin
[livejournal.com profile] sandchigger
[livejournal.com profile] sortkatt
[livejournal.com profile] 45hasle
[livejournal.com profile] a_stoolpidgeon
[livejournal.com profile] sjokoladepiken
[livejournal.com profile] lurvelille
[livejournal.com profile] abigor60
[livejournal.com profile] dm_hpcrazy
and Guri! My little anonymous commenter! :D

You guys are duly invited to pick the people who make your day and post it on your journals.

And just for fun:

So, I removed my first wisdom tooth today, the stitches come out next week and there's one more tooth to go after that. To all you people who said it'd go well, I have one thing to say: You.were.wrong. It was dreadful. I'm still reeling and worst of all, I hardly got any work done. True horror. Also, half my face hurts and I can't laugh or even swallow without pain. I feel sorry for myself.

And what would help cheer me up? that's right: memes!

Lookie lookie at me!

I'm starting to think I might not be the good guy...but that's all right. The time for heroes are over. The time of the anti-hero is here!
